Set sail

How to Play

From a new account to your first battle in a few minutes.
  1. Step 1

    Create your account

    Register with your email and choose a pirate name. That name is your character's name in game. Confirm the email we send you.
  2. Step 2

    Install the Azeroth Storm launcher

    Download the launcher

    Windows 10 or 11. You need your own copy of the game client, version 11.2.5. Point the launcher to its folder once: it sets the game up for Azeroth Storm, keeps it and itself up to date, and starts it with Play. It also sets the line it needs in WTF/Config.wtf:

    SET portal "EU"
  3. Step 3

    Sign in

    Use the same email and password as on this website. Your pirate is made at your first login.
  4. Step 4

    Practice and the Plunderstore

    Press Practice and Join Game to reach Brew Bay, where everyone online gathers. The Plunderstore and the Coin Battle menu are there.
  5. Step 5

    Battle

    Choose Solos, Duos or Trios and press Start. You join the next open battle at once: many battles run side by side, so nobody waits for a map to free up.

Coin Battle

  • Open the Coin Battle menu in Practice, pick Solos, Duos or Trios and a stake of 1, 2, 5 or 10 Coins.
  • Every pirate in a lobby pays the same stake into the pool.
  • The last crew standing splits 75% of the pool equally. The other 25% burns.
  • Coins come from Plunder: 50,000 Plunder for 1 Coin in the Plunderstore's Coins row.
  • Leave before the cannons and your stake comes back. Leave during the match and it stays in the pool.

Winning tips

  • Kill creatures early to level up and loot spells.
  • Loot more copies of a spell to raise its rank.
  • Keep your heal for when you are low on health.
  • Watch the storm: it closes in, and it hurts.
